About Coaching
A core principle of coaching is that you are the expert on your own life. You have the answers within you already, even if at the moment they seem to be deeply buried. My role as a coach is firstly to help you to clarify your goals, explore your situation as it currently is, and help you to uncover or discover what options are available to you. I will then support you in your commitment to your chosen course of action.
Free Discovery Call
Coaching usually begins with a free no-obligation 30-minute discovery call on Zoom. This session is an opportunity for you to ask any questions, for both of us to get a sense of whether I am the right fit for you as a coach, and to decide whether coaching is the most helpful way forward for you at this time. Although the discovery session is not a coaching session, we will identify the general area you would most like to focus on in any future sessions.
Coaching Sessions
Ongoing coaching sessions are generally up to 60 minutes long (though longer sessions can be negotiated) and take place on Zoom, so that you can work from the comfort of your own home or office. It is important that your environment is confidential and free from interruptions, so that you can give all your attention to yourself and your goals. Sessions can also be in-person in Weston-super-Mare (BS22 7SB).
Coaching is an active process, in which you take the lead and take responsibility for your own journey. My role is to facilitate this process by providing a safe and collaborative space, in which you can identify your goals and resolve any internal blocks and conflicts that may be impeding your progress.
To help you to stay engaged in the process, I offer a Client Portal where you can access resources personalised to you.
