Hello and welcome!
I’m Julia Scott, a psychologically-informed coach, with 18 years’ experience of helping people like you to navigate life’s challenges, fulfil their potential, and achieve their goals and desired outcomes.
I am an experienced counsellor and EMDR therapist, and am committed to ongoing professional development to be able to help clients with a wider range of presenting issues. I gained an MSc in Psychology (Distinction) in 2022 and have since added psychologically-informed coaching to my skillset, having trained with the School of Coaching Psychology. I am currently undertaking a further MSc in Coaching Psychology with the University of Chichester.
Therapist to Coach
Alongside my therapy practice, I am now practising coaching psychology, with the ultimate goal of becoming a fully-fledged Chartered Coaching Psychologist.
I am a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a member of their Division of Coaching Psychology. I am supervised by a Chartered Coaching Psychologist and abide by the Code of Ethics and Conduct and Practice Guidelines of the BPS, so you can be sure that you are working with a coach who is committed to ethical and evidence-based practice.
My Coaching Philosophy
At the core of my practice is a belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and positive change. My role as a coach is not to give you advice, but to come alongside you and support you on your individual journey, by providing a collaborative, person-centred space in which you can clarify your goals, overcome obstacles, unlock your true potential, and achieve lasting change.

- Between-session support: To help you maintain engagement and growth between sessions, I offer regular check-ins, support and tracking via a coaching platform.
